Lady Jackets softball has been having a rough year this year with having not enough players, So now have to be careful of players getting hurt. The Lady Jackets softball had 10 players try out for the team. Danielle Anderson that was trying out was coming off of a hand injury and wouldn’t be able to play until March, 13. When she was able to come back and play we had all 10 players. While we were playing HDR, Cara Bower, our catcher hurt her knee and now she is out. We do not know if she will be able to come back and play or not as of right now. We were playing swain and Raylyn Taylor our shortstop was up to bat and she was trying to bunt and the ball hit her middle finger and broke it. She was out for the rest of that game but she was able to come back and play with us. The Lady Jackets softball team is 1-4 in conference right now. They are 1-7 overall in state. They are hoping to bring both of those up as the season goes on.
