Mrs. Kaczmarek is one of our amazing teachers here at Hayesville High School. Last year, she was here as a substitute teacher. However, this year she’s now working full-time as our new chemistry teacher. Students in her class really appreciate her as a teacher. Erica D., A junior in her class had this to say about her, “Mrs. Kat is a sweet, easy going and humorous teacher. She shows up to teach looking pretty everyday, she loves her “lovebugs.”

Katarzyna Kaczmarek originally began her teaching career in Florida as a part-time teacher before falling in love with teaching and ended up spending the next 18 years teaching. She also visited the local area of North Georgia and Western North Carolina with her husband during the summer and also really enjoyed the area, including Hayesville. She said she fell in love with the charm of our small town, as well as how kind the people here are.

During an interview with Mrs. Kaczmarek, she mentioned how she really appreciates the kindness of both the staff and students as well as just how nice our small town is. She also mentioned that she has always enjoyed teaching chemistry, her favorite subject, and is glad to continue teaching it here at Hayesville High School.

People at our school really appreciate Mrs. Kaczmarek and are glad that she’s able to be a part of our awesome group of teachers and staff here at Hayesville High School. We can’t wait to see her help make an impact at our school and to be a great teacher.
