This is a perfect fall dinner for a cool autumn night. These recipes are amazing for fall. You can have them while you watch a spooky movie or make them after going to a pumpkin patch or carving pumpkins. Whatever your fall activity is, here are some recipes you’ll love.

- Add shredded chicken Stir to mix well, then increase heat and bring to a boil.
- While the liquid is heating up, mix the dough for the dumplings by combining Jiffy baking mix and milk in a medium mixing bowl. Stir just until well combined.
- Once the liquid is boiling, scoop the dough out by a rounded tablespoon and drop it into hot broth.
- Once all the dough is dropped in, decrease the heat so the broth is simmering but not at a rolling boil. Allow the dumplings to cook uncovered for about 8 minutes, then partially cover the pan with a lid and let cook for about 8 more minutes, or until the dumplings are done.
- Dumplings are done when they are no longer doughy inside, but are instead fluffy inside, like a biscuit.
- Remove from heat and serve.
This recipe is super popular in the South. It is a dish that your family or relatives have made before. I gave it 6/10 pumpkins. I found this recipe kind of stressful but worth it in the end. Personally, I would recommend not using a full chicken and using a pre-shredded chicken it’ll make the recipe quicker and easier.
